106th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade
Territorial Defense Brigade of the Regional Directorate "West"
Combat Path of the Brigade The Khmelnytskyi-based 106th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was established in June 2018. On December 6, 2022, on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the brigade received its Battle Flag. The brigade’s units have taken part in combat operations across multiple directions, including on the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the Battle of Bakhmut, the Kharkiv operation, and the Kursk operation. They also participated in battles on the Lyman–Kupiansk front and in the fighting for Staromaiorske. Currently, the brigade is carrying out combat missions in the Sumy–Kursk direction.
Principles and Traditions of the 106th TDB: The brigade’s traditions are built on military history, collective experience, and unit culture — all of which strengthen cohesion, instill pride in service, and enhance the fighting spirit among soldiers.
