Military formation of artillery troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since March 2014, most of the personnel of the regiment were at the training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the rest - in the Kherson region. Artillerymen honed their professional skills in fighting, guarding positions and a military camp. In April, a veteran support committee of the 107th jet regiment was created in Kremenchuk, which was created by veteran officers who served in this military unit. He helps the military with logistical support.
After the exercises were completed, one division of the 107th ReAP ensured the protection of Ukraine against the invasion of Russian troops from Crimea. After the start of the active phase of the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas, the second division was redeployed to the east of the country to perform combat tasks. On August 17-18, 2014, the 1st jet division of the regiment, together with units of the 19th missile brigade, struck a column of the 18th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation near Snizhny.
In August 2014, after the massive introduction of Russian regular troops to the territory of Ukraine, in connection with the inaccessibility of the enemy's facilities for other fire means during the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the encirclement near Ilovaisk, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine engaged 1 RDn 19 ORBr, as well as 1 ReADn 107th regiment. Long-range artillery supported the outgoing Ukrainian units, creating a "corridor of fire". Strikes were planned along the route of the advance of the units to places where the enemy is likely to be located (dominant heights, mounds, road intersections, etc.) from the south side — for 1 RDn 19 RBr, from the north side — for 1 ReADn 107 ReAP.
Fire was opened on call. In the course of this, about 12 group and single missile strikes were carried out using from 1 to 4 Tochka installations and about 15 fire strikes from the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system using from 1 to 3 combat vehicles [9]. At the beginning of October 2014, after completing combat missions near Kramatorsk, Artemivsk and Debaltseve, the fighters of the 1st division returned to Kremenchuk for rotation[10]. Reformation On January 1, 2019, the regiment was reformed into a brigade in accordance with the organizational directive of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to observers, this was connected with the arrival of "Alder" systems in the near future. On July 24, 2019, another stage of factory tests of the high-precision Vilkha-M anti-aircraft missile system took place, during which a number of technical and technological solutions were tested. The launches were carried out by staff calculations of the 107th reactive artillery brigade, which will be the first in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to be armed with the new system.
The tests were carried out with the participation of specialists of the State Research Institute of Testing and Certification of OVT, who used the Danish MFTR-2100/40 radar system to check the trajectory of the missiles
