The 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade "Chornyi Lis" is a high-tech and innovative formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, playing a key role in modern combat operations.
Full Name: 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade "Chornyi Lis" Honorary Title: "Chornyi Lis" (awarded on November 3, 2023, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 729/2023). History: The brigade was established based on the 15th Rocket Artillery Kyiv Regiment following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Insignia and Symbolism: The brigade's insignia is in the form of a shield with rounded edges. It features an eagle with spread wings, holding a shield with the symbol of artillery reconnaissance. At the top of the emblem is the brigade's motto: "Swift and Accurate."
Participation in Combat Operations: Since the start of the full-scale war, the brigade has been involved in key operations for the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, including Kyiv Region and the northern parts of Ukraine, as well as Kherson Region. The brigade has been resisting the enemy and dealing significant losses to Russian forces from the first days of the invasion.

Awards and Decorations: On May 4, 2006, the regiment, which became the basis for the brigade, was awarded the Combat Banner. On August 21, 2008, the honorary title "Drohobytsky" was conferred upon the unit. On December 8, 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the brigade with the Combat Banner for high professionalism, combat merits, courage, and bravery.
Armament and Technology: The brigade employs modern reconnaissance and weaponry, including: Tornado-S Multiple Launch Rocket Systems ArK Reconnaissance UAVs
In July 2022, singer Viktor Vynnyk composed the brigade's march, which was presented on September 11 of the same year.
