16 Separate army aviation brigade

The separate 16th Army Aviation Brigade is an important component of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The brigade is based in Brody, Lviv region. It is directly subordinated to the Command of the Land Forces of Ukraine. Established to provide air support for ground operations, the brigade plays a vital role in enhancing operational capabilities. The brigade is armed with a fleet of helicopters adapted to perform a variety of tasks, including transport, reconnaissance and combat support. Thanks to highly qualified pilots and crew members, the brigade ensures fast and efficient mission execution in a variety of terrain and conditions. In addition to its core duties, the 16th Separate Army Aviation Brigade A2595 also participates in disaster relief, search and rescue operations and medical evacuation missions.
