181st separate material support battalion

181st Separate Logistics Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a military unit responsible for logistical and material support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The battalion was formed in 2015 in the city of Novograd-Volynskyi (now Zviahel) under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Synytsia. Its personnel was composed of local residents and officers from various regions of Ukraine. Since its establishment, the battalion has actively carried out material support tasks for AFU units, including participation in the ATO/JFO zone.

Although the battalion is not a combat unit, its activities are critically important to supporting combat operations. Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the battalion has been supplying AFU units with essential resources, demonstrating bravery and dedication in the performance of its duties.
