Material support unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The history of the military unit dates back to August 30, 2004, following the merger of units from the Southern Operational Command into the 25th Separate Logistics Regiment.
It was formed by uniting the 1332nd Separate Fuel Supply Automotive Battalion, the 667th Separate Automotive Battalion, the cadre of the 25th Logistics Brigade, and the 90th Joint Training Center, from which a third of the personnel were transferred.
The regiment was created to organize motor transport operations, maintain military vehicles in combat-ready condition, provide automotive technical support to the troops, and transport supplies by vehicle.
As a logistics unit, the battalion does not directly participate in combat operations. However, its role in supporting combat units is critically important. During russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the battalion provided logistical support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
