20th separate electronic warfare battalion

Formation of electronic warfare troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The part was created on September 27, 2013.

Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country, the personnel of the battalion took an active part in restoring the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. Servicemen of the unit as part of maneuver groups (2014-2015) and entire units (2016-2018) constantly performed combat tasks for the defense of the Motherland.

For personal courage and high professionalism, demonstrated during the performance of assigned tasks in the east of the country, the servicemen of the battalion were awarded the medals of the President of Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the Chief of the General Staff - the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
