History
- 1957 — Formed as the 30th Tank Division in Novograd-Volynskyi.
- 1991 — Became part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- 2004 — Reorganized into the 30th Mechanized Brigade.
- Became the first unit in Ukraine fully staffed with contract soldiers.

“Sword up, battle in a whirlwind, we’re on the path, death to the enemy!” - 2022 — Honorary award “For Courage and Bravery”
- The 30th OMB is third in the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the number of soldiers awarded the title “People’s Hero of Ukraine”.
Current Status
The soldiers of the 30th OMB are the elite of the Ukrainian army.
They have fought on the hottest sections of the front and continue the battle at the forefront.
The war continues, but the brigade is confidently moving towards victory and the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
