

A military unit that is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The 31st Separate Repair and Recovery Regiment was formed on the basis of the 1451st Repair Company of the 145th Repair Regiment and is subordinated to Operational Command "South" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to a joint directive of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated November 30, 2016, No. D-322/1/20/dsk, and the order of the commander of Operational Command "South" dated December 16, 2016, No. 45/dsk, August 31 is considered the official founding day of the military unit.
According to the commander’s directive of August 29, 2017, the unit participated in command and staff exercises held in Kherson region. During these exercises, the regiment’s personnel carried out assigned tasks involving the maintenance and repair of automotive and armored vehicles as well as rocket and artillery weapons. These exercises served as a real test of the unit’s preparedness and its ability to accomplish operational tasks.
The 31st Repair and Recovery Regiment has also gained combat experience through its participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Its permanent location is in the city of Podilsk, based on the facilities of the former 90th Combined Training Center of Automotive Troops.
The 31st Separate Repair and Recovery Regiment was officially established on August 31, 2017, in Podilsk, Odesa region. It is part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and specializes in the repair of automotive and armored vehicles, artillery weapons, and technical evacuation.
The unit has its own emblem — a shoulder patch featuring an eagle holding a hammer and a wrench, along with the motto “Strong in Spirit.” This symbol emphasizes both the regiment’s technical specialization and the moral resilience of its personnel.
