About

The 47th Separate Artillery Brigade (47th SABr) is a formation within the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade performs missions involving fire support and the destruction of enemy targets at operational and tactical depth.

Formation History
The brigade was established as part of the modernization and expansion of the artillery capabilities of the AFU. Its emblem features a red shield with images of artillery guns, symbolizing firepower and combat readiness.

Honors and Awards
Servicemen of the 47th Brigade have been decorated with honors, including the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi — one of Ukraine’s highest state awards for military valor. In addition, the brigade has a badge titled “For Exemplary Military Service,” awarded for outstanding performance in duty.
