The military unit was formed in 1934 to meet the communication needs of the Odesa garrison. Continuing its proud traditions, the personnel of the unit reliably provide communication support for the headquarters and command of the Operational Command "South" and the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This unit ensures reliable communication and information-telecommunication support for the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the southern region. Its responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of communication equipment, as well as ensuring cybersecurity within its area of responsibility.
The daily meticulous work of the personnel in this unit, ensuring reliable communication, has been highly praised by the higher command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The vast majority of its members have been awarded certificates, promoted to higher military ranks, and recognized for exemplary service in fulfilling their duties.
