7th Separate Signal Regiment
The unit was established on May 7, 2015, by directive of the Minister of Defense as a field communication hub and quickly distinguished itself in the combat zone. On July 29, 2016, it was reorganized into a separate signal regiment. Its primary task is to organize and maintain a reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted communication system for the Ground Forces.
The 7th Signal Regiment actively participates in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in eastern Ukraine, providing communication support for Ukrainian units in the combat zone. The regiment also facilitates cooperation with international partners.
For their courage and dedication in the line of duty, many servicemen of the 7th Signal Regiment have been awarded state honors.
