The Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems "Phoenix" is one of the most effective unmanned units within the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems is a structural unit responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Key Areas of Activity:
Development and modernization of UAS: Creating new models and improving existing systems to ensure the effective execution of combat missions. Implementation of innovative technologies: Utilizing cutting-edge technologies to enhance UAV characteristics such as flight range, targeting accuracy, and resistance to interference.
Personnel training and education: Organizing courses and training programs for UAV operators to ensure a high level of qualification and mission readiness. Integration with other units: Collaborating with artillery, infantry, and other military units to ensure the effective use of UAVs in combat conditions.
Unmanned aerial systems play a key role in modern warfare, providing: Reconnaissance and monitoring: Gathering real-time information on battlefield conditions.
Fire correction: Enhancing the accuracy of artillery and other strike systems. Target identification and destruction: Detecting and engaging enemy assets with high precision.
