

brigade of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, subordinate to the Eastern Regional Administration. Currently, the brigade is part of the Assault Guard and performs the task of repelling Russian armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine as part of the Security and Defense Forces.[
Began its activities on October 30, 2015, in accordance with the decision of the management of the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine in order to ensure better and more efficient performance of the tasks assigned to the border service bodies.
From 2015 to 2022, the detachment performed tasks in the security zone along the line of the controlled territory, within the "D" and "M" sectors in the ATO zone. The total length of the line of the controlled territory in the area of responsibility was 132 km.
The passage of persons, means of transport and goods was carried out: by road transport — in designated road corridors: No. 2 — KPVV "Mayorske", No. 3 — KPVV "Marinka"; on the railway tracks - at the "Fenolna" and "Bakhmut" railway stations.
With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, units of the border detachment take an active part in the areas of hostilities in the east of Ukraine and courageously resist the Russian aggressors.
On September 7, 2022, the 11th border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine was awarded the "For Courage and Courage" medal of honor by the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
