Separate Artillery Brigade
Artillery unit of the National Guard of Ukraine. Created in 2024
A Separate Artillery Brigade is the first of its kind within the structure of the National Guard of Ukraine. Established in May 2024.
We are only two years old. But during this time, we have built a full-fledged, large, and effective system that ranked among the top 3 in enemy engagement by artillery in 2025 (Army of Drones).
The first, second, and third self-propelled artillery battalions, the rocket artillery battalion, and the anti-aircraft artillery battalion form the combat core. Behind them are support units, logistics, technical services, and the people who keep this system moving every day.
The foundation of our firepower is the “Bohdana” self-propelled artillery system. We not only operate this system, but also actively cooperate with the manufacturer to improve it based on real combat experience. The brigade participates in testing the latest modernized weapons — including the “Grad” multiple launch rocket system on a MAN chassis and the upgraded “Shilka” supported by the “Come Back Alive” Foundation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our task is not just to use equipment, but to make it more reliable, more accurate, and more effective.
We are building a brigade that knows how to adapt, learn, and strike precisely beyond the horizon.
